We take great care to ensure the privacy of all incentive voucher applicants. Please familiarize yourself with our privacy policy, which explains what personal information is and how we collect, protect, and share it.
What is personal information?
Personal information is information that identifies or describes you. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, home address, telephone number, email address, and driver’s license number.
How do we collect your personal information?
We collect your personal information when you submit your application for an incentive voucher. We also gain access to your personal information through the supporting documentation that you submit in order to have your application processed. Depending on your application circumstances. We may require additional information from you by phone or email.
How do we protect your personal information?
The California E-Bike Incentive Project has security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or alteration of the information you have provided as part of the incentive voucher application process. We follow practices consistent with federal guidelines to protect the information stored in our facility through a number of security measures, which include restricting employee access to confidential or sensitive information, securing access to the area where this information is processed, storing confidential information in locked desks, filing cabinets, and storage rooms, saving electronic files in a secure network location, and password protecting confidential data files.
How do we share your personal information?
We do not share your personal information with any third party that is not involved in the incentive voucher application process. Information that you provide but that does not identify you personally may be included and aggregated with other consumers’ information for statistical reporting.
